Hackney to our office is 2.8 miles — straight south down Mare Street and Cambridge Heath Road.
The route from Hackney is one long southbound road. Mare Street becomes Cambridge Heath Road, which meets the A11 at the point where Whitechapel Road turns into Mile End Road. Turn left and we are a short way along.
The 106 and 254 buses follow almost exactly that line, which makes the bus the simplest option from most of E8 and E9.

By car
Driving from Hackney
- From Hackney Central, head south on Mare Street.
- Continue south as Mare Street becomes Cambridge Heath Road (A107).
- Pass Bethnal Green and continue to the junction with the A11.
- Turn left onto Mile End Road heading east.
- Suda House, number 100, is on the left just past Stepney Green station.
About 24 minutes by car. Mare Street and Cambridge Heath Road are slow through the middle of the day, which is why the Overground route usually wins.
ULEZ and the Congestion Charge. Our office sits inside the Ultra Low Emission Zone, so a non-compliant vehicle pays the daily ULEZ charge. It is outside the Congestion Charge zone, which ends well to the west of us, so you do not pay the Congestion Charge to visit us. Check your registration on the Transport for London site if you are unsure whether your vehicle meets the ULEZ standard.

By Underground and rail
There is no direct tube from Hackney. The practical options are the Overground from Hackney Central to Whitechapel, then a bus or walk east; or the bus the whole way down Cambridge Heath Road. Both take roughly 30 to 35 minutes.
Whitechapel is step-free, which makes the Overground route the better one if you need level access. Stepney Green has stairs.

By bus
The 106 and 254 run south from Hackney down Cambridge Heath Road towards Whitechapel, where you can change onto the 25 heading east, or stay on and walk the last stretch. The D3 links Bethnal Green to Mile End Road directly.

Coming down Cambridge Heath Road, look at the streets just east of the Mile End Road junction. As everywhere in Tower Hamlets, pay-by-phone and permit bays are mixed together — check the plate on the post nearest your space.

What is the best route from Hackney without a car?
Overground from Hackney Central to Whitechapel, then the 25 bus east or an 8 minute walk. It is usually a little quicker than the bus all the way and considerably more predictable.
