From Poplar the journey runs north, away from the river. The straightforward driving route uses Burdett Road, which links the East India Dock Road with Mile End Road, and the whole trip is under two miles.
By public transport it is a DLR ride and a short walk, or a single bus. Both are usually faster than driving once you factor in finding a space at this end.

Driving from Poplar
- From Poplar, join East India Dock Road (A13) heading west.
- At Limehouse, turn right onto Burdett Road (A1205) heading north.
- Follow Burdett Road up to the junction with Mile End Road.
- Turn right onto Mile End Road heading east.
- Suda House, number 100, is on the left, just past Stepney Green station.
About 12 minutes by car in clear traffic; allow 20 or more when the A13 is heavy.
ULEZ and the Congestion Charge. Our office sits inside the Ultra Low Emission Zone, so a non-compliant vehicle pays the daily ULEZ charge. It is outside the Congestion Charge zone, which ends well to the west of us, so you do not pay the Congestion Charge to visit us. Check your registration on the Transport for London site if you are unsure whether your vehicle meets the ULEZ standard.

By Underground and rail
Take the DLR from Poplar to Limehouse, then it is a short bus ride or an 8 minute walk north up Burdett Road to Mile End Road. Alternatively, DLR to Bank and back east on the Central line to Mile End works if you are already heading into the City.
Poplar and Limehouse DLR stations are step-free. Stepney Green is not, so for level access throughout, travel via Whitechapel and take a bus for the final stretch.

By bus
The D3 runs from the Isle of Dogs and Limehouse up to Bethnal Green, crossing Mile End Road close to the office. The 277 is useful for the Burdett Road corridor.

Parking near the office
Arriving up Burdett Road, the streets on the south side of Mile End Road just east of the junction are worth trying first. Bays are a mix of pay-by-phone and residents’ permits, so read the plate on the post rather than the sign at the corner.

Getting here from Poplar
Is the DLR or driving quicker from Poplar?
They are close. Driving is around 10 to 15 minutes but adds parking time at this end; the DLR to Limehouse plus a bus is usually similar and more predictable, particularly when the A13 is busy.
