We are in Tower Hamlets, on Mile End Road — the A11 that runs the length of the borough from Whitechapel to Bow.
If you are already in Tower Hamlets you are within a few miles of our door wherever you are starting from. Suda House sits on the north side of Mile End Road, between Stepney Green and Mile End stations, on the road that connects most of the borough end to end.
Because the A11 runs straight through Whitechapel, Stepney, Mile End and Bow, the simplest instruction for almost any Tower Hamlets postcode is: get onto Mile End Road and follow it until you reach number 100.

By car
Driving from Tower Hamlets
- From the west of the borough (E1, Whitechapel, Shadwell): join Whitechapel Road eastbound; it becomes Mile End Road.
- From the north (E2, Bethnal Green): come south on Cambridge Heath Road or Globe Road and turn left onto Mile End Road.
- From the east (E3, Bow): head west on Bow Road, which becomes Mile End Road.
- From the south (E14, Poplar, Limehouse): come north on Burdett Road (A1205) and turn right onto Mile End Road.
- Suda House, number 100, is on the left-hand side heading east, a short distance past Stepney Green station.
Anywhere in the borough is realistically 5 to 20 minutes by car, though Mile End Road is slow at peak times and a bus or the tube is often quicker.
ULEZ and the Congestion Charge. Our office sits inside the Ultra Low Emission Zone, so a non-compliant vehicle pays the daily ULEZ charge. It is outside the Congestion Charge zone, which ends well to the west of us, so you do not pay the Congestion Charge to visit us. Check your registration on the Transport for London site if you are unsure whether your vehicle meets the ULEZ standard.
Public transport
By Underground and rail
Stepney Green is the closest station at roughly 0.3 miles — District and Hammersmith & City lines, about five minutes on foot. Mile End adds the Central line and is about half a mile away. From the Docklands end of the borough, the DLR to Limehouse and a short bus or walk up Burdett Road works well.
Stepney Green is not step-free. If that matters, travel via Whitechapel, which has lifts to all platforms, and continue by bus along Mile End Road.

By bus
The 25 and 205 both run along Mile End Road and connect Whitechapel, Stepney Green, Mile End and Bow. The D3 crosses the road linking Bethnal Green with Limehouse and the Isle of Dogs.

Street parking near the office is a mix of pay-by-phone and residents’ bays, sometimes on the same street. Coming from within the borough you will often know the local restrictions already, but check the plate on the nearest post before you leave the car.
